Principal
Paramjeet (Jamie) Pabla graduated in 2001 from University of Auckland and was admitted to the Bar in 2002. He worked for several private businesses and government departments in his early career before commencing his law practice in 2005 working with a sole practitioner specialising in Property Law. He then worked overseas for a London based conveyancing law firm before joining a prominent Remuera law firm in 2007 and practised in property law, trusts and estate administration in addition to business/commercial law including civil litigation.

In 2013 after nearly 8 years of legal experience Jamie decided to practise in his own account and established Pabla Law. He is a member of the Property Law Section (Accredited Specialist) of the New Zealand Law Society.
Jamie was born and raised in Auckland with parents that had emigrated from Punjab in Northern India.
Principal
Rifat joined Pabla Law in March 2025, and practices Property and Commercial transactions, Trusts, Wills, Enduring Power of Attorney, Refinancing and general legal matters. Prior to joining us, he worked at other law firms in Gisborne and Auckland, predominantly in the same areas of law.
Rifat is detail-oriented and dedicated to his clients. Specialising in Property Law, he collaborates closely with clients to ensure a smooth process from start to finish.
Outside of work, Rifat enjoys photography, spending time with family and friends, playing cricket, watching movies and sports, reading articles, and traveling
Principal
Carolyn is the most experienced member of our legal team, having spent approximately 48 years in the legal profession working for small, medium and large law firms.

She joined the Pabla Law team in 2021 and is part of our busy property conveyancing team.
​
Outside of work, Carolyn can be found in her garden as she is an avid and keen gardener. She enjoys cooking, the beach and spending time with family and friends.
Principal
Pree started working for Pabla Law in 2013, initially as the Receptionist and Jamie's Legal Assistant. As our team has grown, she has taken on the responsibilities of managing both the Practice as well as the firm's Trust Account.

Prior to her foray into the legal field, Pree has worked in the travel industry and also has operations and management experience in the fitness club sector. Born and raised in Hyderabad, India, she moved to New Zealand in 2006.

Pree's hobbies include watching movies and TV shows, reading and gardening.
Principal
Radhika Darshani is a Fiji-born professional with a background in Business Management, HR, and Industrial Relations. With experience in the tourism industry and at the Fiji Development Bank, she has contributed to talent development, employee engagement, and organizational growth.
Currently at Pabla Law, she thrives in client-facing roles and is driven by her values of self-belief and motivating others.
Fluent in Hindi and English, Radhika enjoys family time, travel, and music, and remains committed to continuous growth and purposeful leadership.
Sonali hails from a legal background, holding both a bachelor's and master's degree in law from esteemed public universities in India. Before joining our firm, Sonali dedicated her time as a volunteer for several organizations, including the Citizen's Advice Bureau, Shanti Niwas Charitable Trust, and St. Vincent de Paul.
Since joining Pabla Law as a Receptionist/Legal Administration Assistant last year, she has seamlessly integrated into our team .
Sonali's proficiency in Hindi, Punjabi, and English equips her with a deep understanding of diverse cultures. Her ambition to become a Barrister & Solicitor in New Zealand reflects her dedication to the legal profession and her commitment to personal growth and development.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Sonali indulges in creative pursuits such as canvas paintings, hand embroidery, and enjoys binge-watching movies.
